Wollongong
Wollongong is located on the coast, about 75 minutes drive south of Sydney. It’s justifiably renowned for surfing beaches, an easy lifestyle, top level tertiary education – such as the University of Wollongong -, an increasingly sophisticated nightlife, and a rapidly growing professional scene.
With a population of some 200,000, Wollongong offers excellent medical facilities, retail precincts, and sporting venues. Easy rail and road access to Sydney, the Southern Highlands and on to Canberra is an added bonus.
